Business Development Officer – RISK

As a Business Development Director, you would be primarily working remotely. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to deliver high-quality results while working in a fast-paced and growing environment. The Director will be reporting to the President and be responsible for the following:

  • Generate new leads and scout the market for new opportunities, while maintain relationships with existing referral partners
  • Build an active pipeline of qualified prospects, generate leads from bankers, asset-based lenders, and factors, and other referral partners
  • Organize one-on-one meetings, prepare presentations, and attend networking events
  • Pitch the credit products to C-level executives at middle-market companies
  • Negotiate policy terms and conditions

Requirements:

  • An undergraduate degree from a recognized institute is required; Finance and/or Marketing/Communications Majors are preferred
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Previous experience selling credit insurance is a must
  • Strong communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills
  • Ability to quickly multi-task between clients/projects/prospects
