As a Collateral Analyst, you must be available to work out of our Florida office in Boca Raton. The ideal candidate will have the ability to ensure the accuracy and quality of the clients’ collateral submitted for potential financing. They will audit the borrower’s accounts receivable, processing in a timely, but efficient manner to confirm the authenticity of the receivables. This role sits in our Finance Operations division, which is responsible for maintaining the daily financing and credit needs of FGI’s portfolio of existing clients. The Collateral Analyst will be reporting to the Operations Manager and be responsible for the following:

  • Perform a comprehensive review of a client’s collateral upon submission; immediately report any inconsistencies, errors, unusual findings and verify if authorized signatures are on the reports
  • Verify the receivable invoices directly with the debtor in a timely manner to determine their eligibility
  • Prepare monthly verification letters and statements and perform regular follow ups on any exceptions, non-responses, and past due invoices
  • Maintain and report accurate and up-to-date information in the operating system including credit limits, contact information, and all processing-related notes
  • Collaborate with Account Management on client-related tasks
  • Work directly with clients to discuss and resolve any discrepancies in their collateral reporting
  • Monitor and prepare weekly reconciliation of collection receipts to validate the accuracy of the borrowers reported collateral and ensure that debtors are paying in accordance with the terms of the loan agreement


  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience working in collections is required
  • Experience working in finance is preferred
  • Proficient in Excel
