As a Managing Director, you will be responsible for leading the FGI Risk division. FGI Risk is a full-service trade credit insurance brokerage and risk advisory, servicing enterprises and lending institutions globally. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to deliver high-quality results while working in a fast-paced and growing environment. This individual will be reporting to the President and be responsible for the following:

  • Develop the business development strategy to grow the business including opening new markets
  • Oversee the origination and portfolio teams
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create initiatives to support the origination efforts
  • Build an active pipeline of qualified prospects and generate leads from FGI’s strategic referral partners
  • Train the team in all the sales and portfolio techniques related to credit insurance
  • Manage the relationship with all the credit insurance carriers
  • Collaborate with the Finance and Technology teams to create cross-selling opportunities

Requirements:

  • An undergraduate degree from a recognized institute is required; Finance and/or Marketing/Communications majors are preferred
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience
  • Previous experience managing and building a team is required
  • Previous experience selling credit insurance is a must
