FGI Executive Director Sami Altaher Announced As A Winner Of The 5th Annual 40 Under 40 Recognition Awards

NEW YORK, May 20, 2014 – FGI (www.FGIWW.com) Executive Director Sami Altaher is among this year’s winners of The M&A Advisor “40 Under 40 Recognition Awards,” in the Service Provider category.

Sami Altaher was chosen for his accomplishments and expertise from a pool of international nominees by an independent judging panel of distinguished business leaders.

On Tuesday, June 24th, The M&A Advisor, in conjunction with the 2014 Emerging Leaders Summit, will host a black tie awards gala at the Roosevelt Hotel in Manhattan. The exclusive event will pair the 40 Under 40 winners together with their mentors and other stalwarts, introducing this year’s recipients to the business community, and celebrating their achievements.

Mr. Altaher is recognized as a distinguished leading industry expert in the international finance community. He began his career in the Global Trade Finance division of Jordan Gulf Bank as an Assistant Vice President of Business Development. Prior to joining FGI, Mr. Altaher was a Senior Research Analyst at BOE securities, a research-oriented securities brokerage.

Mr. Altaher has been a moderator and speaker at many panels, including those for the Commercial Finance Association, Turnaround Management Association and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants. He serves on the Executive Committee of the Commercial Finance Association. Mr. Altaher was born in Jordan, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
