FGI Finance Helps Sponsor the “Jason Peter all fore! Junior Achievement” Charity Golf Event

NEW YORK, August 24, 2010 – FGI Finance (www.fgifinance.com) will be a sponsor in the upcoming Jason Peter all fore! Junior Achievement Golf Event held October 14-15, 2010 at the Hillcrest Country Club in Lincoln, Nebraska.

The Golf Outing & Cocktail event, co-hosted by Jason Peter and Junior Achievement, pairs each foursome with an All Star player for the day. Bidding for that opportunity will start online in September and finish at the Cocktail Party on Thursday, October 14. All teams will enjoy an incredible day of golf, delicious food, entertainment and gifts.

Special guests include Tom Osborne, Doc Sadler, Charlie McBride, Trev Alberts, Clayton Anderson, Jason & Christian Peter and many more Husker & sports legends.

Jason Peter(www.jasonpeter.com) was a University of Nebraska football defensive lineman in the mid-nineties where he played on three national Championship teams (1994, 1995 & 1997). He was named First Team All-Big 12 in 1996 and 1997, First Team All American in 1997 and was also a finalist for the Outland Trophy, the Bronko Nagurski and the Defensive Player of the Year Award. Jason was selected by the NFL as a first-round draft pick by the Carolina Panthers where he played for five years before injuries forced him to retire. Jason’s memoir is a New York Times bestseller titled “Hero of the Underground”. Jason is currently co-hosting Omaha’s CBS Action 3 News “Sports Sound Off.”
