Information Security you can TRUST
Information security is a top priority for business utilizing software in their operations. For that reason, we are proud to share that FGI Worldwide LLC (FGI) has achieved the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, affirming that FGI operates an Information Security Management System (ISMS) that meets the standard’s requirements.
What is ISO/IEC 27001:2002?
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commissions (IEC), developed ISO/IEC 27001 as the global standard for information security. The ISO/IEC 27001:2022 is the latest version of the global standard for information management systems, providing a framework to help organizations manage and protect sensitive information.
How did FGI earn a Certificate of Registration?
After successfully completing a structured, rigorous, multi-step process, FGI was found to meet the requirements of ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and was issued a Certificate of Registration by Prescient Security. This certification covers FGI’s Information Security Management System (ISMS) supporting FGI Worldwide’s commercial finance, credit insurance risk management, and services delivered through its SaaS product offerings. The scope includes cloud-hosted infrastructure. The ISMS scope covers FGI Tech (an internal division) departments: Software Development, Information Security and Customer Operations, as well as Global Information Technology and Human Resources processes.
What does this mean for FGI clients and partners?
Achieving ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification reinforces FGI’s commitment to strong information security practices, effective risk management and operational resilience.
