    As a Staff Accountant, you would primarily work in our Florida or New York City office. You will play a key role in managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The Staff Accountant will collaborate with various stakeholders, including the finance department, management, and external auditors, to meet financial reporting requirements and support the company’s financial objectives.

    • Responsible for daily accounting operations such as recording and reconciling financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general journal entries and closings.
    • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Support the preparation of internal and external financial reports.
    • Assist in the accurate and timely preparation, reconciliation, and dissemination of daily/monthly closings, monthly/quarterly financial statements, and annual audited financial statements
    • Process and reconcile vendor invoices, purchase orders, and employee expense reports.
    • Ensure timely and accurate payment of vendors and resolve any billing discrepancies.
    • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations.
    • Collaborate with auditors, providing necessary documentation and assistance during audits.
    • Assist in the implementation and improvement of financial systems and processes.
    • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting activities.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • 3+ years of relevant experience
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, US GAAP, and financial reporting standards.
    • Proficiency in using accounting software (preferably Microsoft Dynamics), spreadsheet applications (e.g., Excel), and financial analysis tools.
